Suddenly materialising out of thin air to play his debut show at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'21, STAP Sigh Boys has been called "neo soul melted in a microwave", "a one-man-band Random Access Memories" and "Mac Demarco of Koenji".

On August 23rd (Wed), he will release an EP from his new album "Chord" (coming September), including the album's iconic sunshine pop track "Verbose Inroads" and a collection of album outtakes as b-sides.

    一度もライブをしたことがなかったにもかかわらず、FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’21 Rookie A GoGoに出演。 2021年11月23日にデビューアルバム『Hey』をリリースし、2022年4月29日にコンセプチュアルディスコアルバム『Aino』をリリース。 「電子レンジで溶かしたネオソウル」「1人ランダム･アクセス･メモリーズ(ダフト･パンク)」「高円寺のマックデマルコ」と評される。 影絵、腹話術、魔術、パーティーゲームを盛り込んだシュールでインタラクティブなライブを数多く行い、ライブシーンでも高い評価を得ている。 もともと1970年の大阪万博アイルランド館で働くため来日しましたが、東京の築地市場に行った際に冷凍庫に閉じ込められてしまい、豊洲に移転した時にようやく発見されました。
