The next-generation production unit Ao wa Tomare, consisting of vocalist Aohada and composer Iotas, has released their new single "Broken Vase."
The track features arrangement by Vocaloid producer Itaby, winner of the Vocaloid Stage PV Award at Senko Riot 2025, bringing a refined and understated sound to the song.
Through lyrics that depict unreachable feelings and remembered gestures, the song captures moments when nostalgia quietly turns into pain. Lyrics were written by Aohada and Iotas, with composition by Iotas.
Itaby's arrangement emphasizes restraint and negative space, using a minimal sound palette and delicate progression to highlight the loneliness within the lyrics.
