INGEN - SPACE (4:06)

1st Single

Based in Numazu, Shizuoka, Japan, INGEN releases his debut single SPACE.

The title carries two meanings: the vastness of the universe and the emotional void left behind.

The story begins at Numazu Central Park, a local skate spot where riders gather on concrete ledges as the sound of customized bikes cuts through the evening air. Sunsets over Mt. Kanuki and Suruga Bay frame memories of youth and impossible dreams.

A close friend once spoke seriously about becoming an astronaut.
His dreams were bigger than reality.
One day, he disappeared.

Did he leave to travel the world with a backpack?
Did he vanish into the streets?
Or is he somewhere beyond the atmosphere he once dreamed of?

What remains is space.

Driven by the raw lyricism of Hip-Hop and the groove of Reggae, the track rides on a raga inspired vertical driving beat. Fully self produced by INGEN, SPACE transforms memory and loss into rhythm and forward motion.

Music makes me fearless.

More than a debut single, this track marks the beginning of INGENs journey.

Actively performing across Eastern Shizuoka, INGEN has also appeared in Kabukicho, Tokyo, sharing stages with artists such as KMC and performing at events featuring legendary DJs including DJ MASTER KEY and DJ DIRTYKRATES a.k.a Zeebra.

He received the Jury Award at Shizuoka Live United hosted by K-mix FM Shizuoka, selected by radio personality Yukie Kamiya. He was also featured in a dedicated 30 minute special on the K-mix radio program Kamiya Yukie no Dokuritsu Sengen, earning strong recognition from local media.

    INGEN Artist Profile INGEN is an artist based in Numazu, Shizuoka. Blending raw HIPHOP lyricism with the sway of REGGAE, he rides raggamuffin-inspired, vertically bouncing beats layered with real emotion. Numazu Chuo Park is home ground. Concrete ledges. High-handlebar bikes. Mount Kanuki. Sunsets sinking into Suruga Bay. Ordinary landscapes and the memories carved into them. This is what INGEN burns directly into sound. His first single, SPACE, overlaps the meaning of outer space with the empty space left in the heart. He grew up in the same town as a friend who once seriously said he would become an astronaut. That friend eventually disappeared, not gone but remaining deep inside his chest as SPACE. Carrying that emptiness forward, INGEN lets it resonate through his own beats. He produces his own tracks, handling everything himself from memories to pain. Music makes me fearless. It is not bravado. It is resolve. His live performances are centered in eastern Shizuoka, including appearances in Kabukicho, sharing stages with DJ Soulmankich,iDJ MASTER KEY, DJ DIRTYKRATES aka Zeebra, DJ SHIBUCHIN, and DJ OSHO, building experience within the real underground scene. He also received the Judges Special Award from Yukie Kamiya at Shizuoka Live United, hosted by K-mix. The station program Yukie Kamiya no Dokuritsu Sengen featured him in a dedicated 30-minute special, earning strong recognition from local media. He is becoming a defining figure of the new generation in the Shizuoka local scene. This is the first chapter. Carrying the emptiness, he steps forward.
