Japanese R&B singer-songwriter Tio returns with his highly anticipated 2nd EP, marking his first collection of work in six years since his debut EP,
"Expectation".
Alongside previously released singles "Tailwind" and "Nowhere," the 5-track project features three brand-new songs, fully produced by his longtime collaborator, uin. Shifting from the bright, fresh tone of his debut, this EP showcases Tio's matured musicality, channeling years of creative struggle and internal conflict into a refined sound.
The lead track, "WANT," blends 2000s R&B-inspired beats with an infectious melodic flow and raw, candid lyricism, creating an introspective yet catchy standout. Moving dynamically from the despair of "Dust (Don't Look at My Desk)" to the hope of the closing track "Hikari," the EP stands as a definitive, heartfelt body of work born from Tio's unwavering commitment to his craft.

Tio
An R&B singer from Kobe, Japan. Influenced by his parents, he was introduced to music at an early age and has been shaped by a wide range of genres, including J-pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, K-pop, and Vocaloid. Around 2018, he began uploading original songs and cover tracks to SoundCloud as a hobby, and in 2019 he officially started his music career. In 2020, he released his first EP, Expectation. He is currently working toward the release of his second EP, scheduled for 2026.
