On February 28, 2026, a tragic airstrike by the United States hit a primary school in Iran, claiming the lives of over 175 students and teachers. It was later revealed that the bombing was carried out based on outdated military intelligence. Regardless of the reasons, the fact remains that lots of innocent lives were abruptly stolen away. This piece has been produced as a requiem for those who perished, especially for the young students whose futures were so cruelly snatched from them.
I started DTM at the age of seventy after the example of Katsushika Hokusai, who achieved his masterpiece, Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, when he was over seventy years old. *Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) was a renowned Japanese ukiyo-e painter and printmaker of the Edo period. He is best known for his iconic woodblock prints, particularly the series "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji" including the famous print "The Great Wave off Kanagawa".
