A ballad created as the theme song for the first ice show hosted by former Japanese national figure skater Hidetsugu Kamata.
This song expresses the protagonist's journey through adolescence-from the struggles of climbing the stairs to adulthood to eventual liberation.
Featuring a grand arrangement by Hiroyuki Asakura and brilliant chorus work by Sōshi Matsumoto.
Matsumoto Soushi Born in Saitama Influenced by 90s and 00s R&B, he began composing at the age of 18. He moved to the US in 2011. While taking vocal lessons in NY, he toured live music venues and sang, earning praise from New Yorkers for his voice. The theme of his music is "light". His childhood experience of having his dreams rejected by adults and his friend's death by his own hand made him think about the preciousness of life. No one's life is smooth sailing, but his music sometimes gives him warmth, and sometimes he sings songs that make listeners hold a light in their hearts like a guidepost, touching the hearts of his audiences.
