ENTER THE ARK

This unusual instrumental piece, centered around the piano, stands apart from Ayuka Kurosaki's (ASPHALTIC WIZARDS composer) current style, which makes extensive use of majestic pipe organs and harpsichords.
The rough-edged yet intensely energetic, dark and danceable sound characteristic of her early works truly evokes the beginnings of the "cybergothic" genre advocated by the group. This soundscape, where beautiful yet cold piano melodies intersect with heavy beats, could be considered the prologue to the "distorted world" that would later lead to "CODE:AW."
