Across time and genre, a journey through landscapes of memory.
This is Ringohan first best album, Tsuioku (Retro).
Enka, pop, folk, and children songs
these 21 story-filled tracks refuse to fit into a single category. Each song carries a sense of nostalgia, yet feels fresh and alive at the same time.
Scenes of Nara, unforgettable people, playful imagination, and deeply moving emotions unfold through music, gently connecting with the listener own memories.
Ringohan, the one and only singer known for wearing an apple on her head, blends the sensitivity of an illustrator with twelve years of musical storytelling.
Through words and melody, she paints emotional landscapes that feel both personal and universal.
Tsuioku (Retro) was brought to life through crowdfunding and stands as her very first best-of collection.
It gathers the path she has walked so far and the feelings that continue into the future .a true portrait of Ringohan artistic world.
Step into a place where nostalgia meets new memories.
Your own retro moments begin here.
*Bonus tracks include three instrumental versions, available on the streaming edition.
Ringohan is a Japan-based singer-songwriter and illustrator known as the singing pastel artist. Blending nostalgia with warmth, her songs move freely across genres including enka, folk, pop, and children music, always carrying a strong sense of story and emotional color. Recognizable for her signature apple-on-the-head style, she has appeared on TV and radio while performing mainly in Nara. Alongside music, she creates pastel artwork under the name 5*SEASON, building a unique world that connects sound and visual art. In late 2025, she marked an important milestone year that brought her live performance chapter to a meaningful pause, allowing time to reflect and deepen her artistic expression. Her first best album Retro gathers songs born from those years of heartfelt creation.
