Life, Served Warm

Time spent enjoying something delicious is time spent enjoying your life. Life, Served Warm brings that pleasure to thirteen bright, breezy English-language bossa nova songs. Warm female vocals and nylon-string guitar lead the way through leisurely breakfasts, solo lunches, dishes shared with coworkers, and dinners made together at home. A freshly torn loaf, peach juice running down a wrist, and conversations sparked by "Try a little of this" give ordinary days their own distinctive flavor. There is no need to wait for a special occasion to bring out the good plates or choose what you really love. This is an album for savoring what is in front of you-and looking forward to another helping.
