No Pain No Gain
All Day

Artist Profile
Crystal Taro
Born in Chikushino City, Fukuoka Prefecture. In 2016, he dropped out of university in Los Angeles, California. He lived as a homeless person in his beloved E320, eventually being deported due to illegal entry into Mexico. He documented his five-month journey to Tokyo in the free mixtape Yanocedez Benz, released under the name Yano in 2017. In 2018, he formed the three-member unit YYY with Y'S and YTG, releasing an EP. In 2019, he was featured on DJ KANJI's track Shiroi Koibito. He released his first album, TruYanoShow, based on his unique experiences, but later took it down due to personal struggles. He then changed his artist name to Crystal Taro and expanded his creative activities into beat-making, cover art design, and video production. Starting with the release of MIRAI in 2022, he continued to drop various singles and EPs. In 2023, he released the album Workation, entirely self-produced from the beats up. In 2024, he met Kitaro yvng jet, which led to the formation of the artist collective CHIMERA. The group's drill remix sampling the Vocaloid classic Ama no Jaku was released on YouTube and has reached 230,000 views as of February 2025. Shortly after, CHIMERA released their first album, Summon CHIMERA, which included the track Give Me Love, later remixed by GOBLIN LAND. In June 2024, he released his album GAME DAY, a dope project blending various sounds. That same year, he featured on SQUALL, a track from GOBLIN LAND's reggae album NATURAL STYLE, and also appeared in its music video. Later, he collaborated with YUZIN on the track Freelance, marking his first 3D visualizer production. In November 2024, after years of keeping it unreleased, he re-released TruYanoShow under the name Crystal Taro. In January 2025, he created 3D visualizers for OSK NIGHT REMIX feat. REAL-T and Yoru Uta, both for GOBLIN LAND. On February 22, 2025, he released the single Buttobi, unveiling a music video that combined his self-shot footage with 3D elements. He also designed the cover art himself. Crystal Taro continues to push boundaries, making him an artist to watch closely.
