A song born from a request by vocalist Yumiko Arima, who was speaking on a community FM station in Aoba Ward, Yokohama City, to the vocal unit Basil, asking them to "create a Local Song inspired by Aoba Ward, Yokohama City."

  • Yumiko Arima

    Japanese singer song-writer, Yumiko Arima, known as a singer of the first opening theme "Yumeippai" of "Chibi-Maruko-Chan," in 1990 by the name of "Yumiko Seki". Her original song "EVERY HAPPINESS" written and performed for "Sylvanian Families"(Calico Critters) in 1992, is still popular among Sylvanian fans on stages and CDs. "Yumeippai" was on Rakuten TV CM for Mother's Day Promotion 2020, with her newly recorded vocals after 29 years since the first recording. Summer of 2021, the new version came out as "Yumeippai 2021" and "Every Happiness 2021"with guitar arrangement, and is making many fans happy with "Emoi" feelings. Recentlly she works as a narrator for Japanese TV, radio, internet shows and commercials, also a millinery, designs hats and caps in Japan.
