Tokyo, behind the chaos of Shibuya, a man who has spent two decades breathing life into countless classic records as an engineer and owner of the studio "delmontestudio" has finally completed an album bearing his own name: EN.
This work transcends the boundaries of a simple producer album.
For 20 years, delmontestudio has stood behind the scenes supporting Japanese hip-hop. Now, monsters of completely different generations and styles gather under one roof. On the opening track "IKIGAI," longtime ally ISH-ONE helps establish the spiritual backbone of the album. On track five, "GONE," Benizakura delivers overwhelming emotional intensity through his voice. On track nine, "No Longer Human," Tepa Roucci paints a fragile yet beautiful portrait of the human spirit. And on track eleven, "FNO," YDIZZY expresses a raw hunger for the future.
Drawn into the gravitational field known as delmontestudio, these monsters reveal sides of themselves that even their own fans have never heard before.
Deeply respecting these artists and valuing lyricism above all else, delmontestudio has continued moving forward without ever stopping. Because of that relentless pursuit, this album becomes both a cold-eyed and passionate statement aimed directly at the hip-hop scene of 2026.
As symbolized by the jacket artwork - a lone figure standing still in the middle of a snowy landscape - this album represents a point of arrival where artists who understand loneliness are connected through the bond known as music.
Artist Profile
delmontestudio
Owner and sound designer of DELMONTE STUDIO in Shibuya, Tokyo Through DJ activities started in 1996, he made his major debut as ASTRO from BMG JAPAN in 2006. On the other hand, he is a major telecommunications company and strives to process sound sources for digital contents. After becoming independent in 2012 and establishing DELMONTE STUDIO, Regardless of major or indie music centered on HIPHOP He is involved in the production of sound sources for more than 800 artists with 300 people a year. The method cultivated by self-education twists the existing concept by performing the individually separated work of composition, recording, mixing, and mastering with ALL IN ONE, and proposes a new horizon. Hit songs such as "ISH-ONE / NEW MONEY", "S7ICKCHICKs / My chicks", and "JP THE WAVY / Cho Wavy De Gomenne" have been produced in the studio. He also belongs to the production unit "TEAM2MVCH" with his ally ISH-ONE and the production unit "XKHALIVAS" with SAGGA. He also releases an instrumental work under his personal name "delmontestudio" every other week.
