小指に刺さった棘が取れない
もっと皮が厚かったら何ともなかった
どこで刺さったのかも分からない
私は何を見て歩いていたんだろう
都合の悪いことが見えずにいることに
感謝しなければならないのだろうか
人の痛みも分からない私には
こんな痛みはすぐに消えるように見える
こんな些細なことを気にしていたら
一人取り残される
何の不自由もないけど
一日の営みの中で怪我は含まれない
小指に棘が刺さったくらいで
いちいち立ち止まっていたら
一日中使う指が 同じ目にあったとき
私の時計はどれほど狂うのだろう
そう考えると小指でよかったと安心するのが
私の心の安定にどれだけ効果があるのか
自分の奥底に聞いてみるのが早いのだろうか
心の奥底に花が咲いているなら
蕾のまま周りが見えていない私を
不思議に思うだろう
自分自身のことをいちいち
自分自身を取り出して聞くなんて
よくもそんな恥ずかしいことができるなと
私自身がそう思う
人は些細な悩みでも
どこかで意見が欲しいと思い
答えを求めて安心したいと
自分の持つ縁を崩さないように心を保つ
たかが小指だとしても
どうやって引っかかったものを
取り除いていくのか
いつ人は習っていくのだろう
刺さった棘は奥に行くばかり
小指の棘は取れない
取り出し方も忘れた
