Muramii to Release New Single "SHADY DEAL" on October 23

Japanese guitarist and creator Muramii will release her new single "SHADY DEAL" on October 23.

Muramii began her music career in 2021 by posting "guitar cover" videos on YouTube and has since built a following of over 54,000 subscribers. She is now expanding her activities as a guitarist-supporting live bands, collaborating with Fender on promotional projects, and providing song arrangements for various artists.
Motivated by a growing desire to express her own vision more deeply, she has recently been focusing on writing and producing original songs.

"SHADY DEAL" marks Muramii's fourth self-produced track, with her handling every stage of production-from lyrics and composition to arrangement. The song delivers a strong message: to never yield to exploitation or injustice, and to protect the values and beliefs that truly matter.
Drawing inspiration from the traditional Japanese children's game "Hanaichi Monme," Muramii weaves the slang phrase "SHADY DEAL" (meaning a suspicious or secretive transaction) into the song's concept as a symbolic theme.

The single's cover artwork was also designed by Muramii. The custom-made fonts for the artist name and song title were developed together with a designer, creating a one-of-a-kind visual identity.

A music video for "SHADY DEAL" is set to premiere on Muramii's official YouTube channel later in October.
