Based in Kumamoto, composer Yukiko Kamata creates music rooted in post-classical and electronic styles, with a focus on acoustic textures. She has composed music for commercials and films, contributing to
projects for brands such as SONY, JT, and Mazda, as well as various regional initiatives.

Her digital album N, releasing on October 31, features newly remixed
and remastered works along with three new compositions. The album
is enveloped in a gentle post-classical sound that quietly resonates
with everyday life.

Blending piano and orchestral arrangements, her delicate melodies
evoke natural landscapes and subtle emotions, leaving a graceful
afterglow within the listener's daily moments.

    作曲家。 ピアノを軸に、ポストクラシカルからオーケストラまで、アコースティックな響きを基調とした音楽を制作している。 かつて私立の中高一貫校で音楽科講師を務めたのち、フリーランスの作曲家として活動を始める。 これまでに SONY、ABC-MART、JT、N organic、マツダ株式会社 などの企業プロモーション映像やTVCM、長崎県内の映像作品、熊本市政令指定都市10周年記念映像、熊本県立劇場40周年記念映像 の音楽を手がけるほか、OMO5熊本 by 星野リゾート やファクトリーショップ「拝啓」の空間音楽も担当。 熊本を拠点に、映像の呼吸や空気感を大切にした音楽づくりを行い、昨年は短編映画の劇伴も担当。映像に寄り添う音楽表現を探求している。
