SATOSHI MIYATA
Born July 28, 1984 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Blood type AB. He began playing baseball in the third grade of elementary school, and attended Tohoku High School in Miyagi and Senshu University's baseball team. In his second year of high school, he played in the Koshien Spring Invitational Tournament. He then discovered his passion for music, and in 2010, he participated in the "EXILE Presents VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 2 ~For Young People with Dreams~." He made his major debut in December 2011 with the vocal duo "BREATHE" with the song "Aikagi/White Lies," produced by Kiyoshi Matsuo, a leading figure in Japan's R&B scene who has produced artists such as Toshinobu Kubota, Masayuki Suzuki, Ken Hirai, JUJU, and CHEMISTRY. He was the sixth vocal artist to perform the ending song "Samsara" for the Fuji TV documentary program "The Non-Fiction." The song "Stand For The Light" from his new mini album "STAND!" is the cheer song for his university classmate, Yuya Hasegawa of the SoftBank Hawks. "RISE" is also the entrance song for Yuhei of the Yakult Swallows at home games.
