Artist Profile

  • RIRIKO

    Tokyo/Shinjuku native. Started playing the guitar at the age of 11 and began composing in junior high school. Started performing at live houses during high school, winning the MVP award at the "High School Band Battle" in 2011 and the Best Vocalist award at the "JYOJI-ROCK U-22 GP" in 2012. After graduation, continued musical activities while attending Tokyo Music University. In 2017, made a major debut with the song "Sono Mirai e," which became the opening theme for the TV anime "Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau." Besides working as a singer-songwriter, is active as a lyricist and composer, gaining attention as a promising young creator who provides songs for multiple voice actor artists, including Maaya Uchida and Nao Toyama, as well as contributing to TV anime tie-up songs for various artists like Hinatazaka46 and Last Idol. Furthermore, started activities as RIRIKO BAND in 2023. Also, responsible for the opening theme song of the TV anime "Snack Basu E" as part of the music unit "otonari".
