現代社会に潜む“見えない支配”と、その鎖を断ち切ろうとする内なる葛藤を描いた、重厚で叙情的なヘヴィメタル作品「Chains of Control」がついに解き放たれる。
本作は、1980〜90年代のスラッシュメタルやドゥームメタルにインスパイアされたサウンドを基盤としながらも、現代的な音像と深い内省的メッセージを融合させた、まさに“過去と現在をつなぐ”一曲。
冒頭の静謐なクリーントーンから一転、重低音のリフと叩きつけるようなドラム、そして魂をえぐるようなボーカルが、聞く者を暗闇の世界へと引きずり込む。テーマは「抑圧と解放」。社会構造・内面の闇・過去のトラウマといった“目に見えない鎖”に絡め取られながらも、抗い、叫び、進もうとする人間の本能的なエネルギーが込められている。
タイトルが示す「Chains of Control（支配の鎖）」は単なる比喩ではない。私たちが無意識に受け入れてしまう常識、ルール、期待、沈黙。そのすべてが無音の“鎖”となり、自由を奪っていく。本作はその現実を突きつけ、同時に“その鎖を壊す勇気”をリスナーに問いかける。
アートワークは、骨と鉄と影で構成された象徴的なビジュアル。見る者の内面に潜む恐怖や怒り、そして微かな希望を喚起させる。
ジャンルとしてはヘヴィメタル、スラッシュメタル、ダークメタル、ドゥームなどに分類されるが、単なるオマージュでは終わらず、現代の感性で再構築された“2025年の鋼鉄バラード”とも言える。
音楽が単なるエンターテイメントではなく、精神の逃げ場であり武器でもあると信じるすべての人に捧げる。
