朝の駐車場
一台 また一台
知らないエンジンの音が
同じ場所へ集まってくる
磨いたタンクに 空が映って
少し離して バイクを停める
名前も知らない 隣の人が
私の足元を見て ふっと笑う
「それ 替えたんですね」
そこから始まる 今日の話
歳も仕事も 知らないままで
気づけば二人で しゃがみ込んでる
タイヤの減り方
昨日走った峠
そんな話なら
妙に素直になれる
今日のミーティングで またひとつ
知らなかった名前を覚えていく
自慢するより 聞いてみたくなる
どうしてこれを 選んだのか
同じバイクなんて 一台もない
だから話は 尽きなくて
好きなものだけ 持ち寄った場所で
人と人まで 近くなっていく

「そこ変えたら 乗り味どう？」
答えひとつで また質問
気づけば工具まで 出てきてる
昔はこれで よく転んだ
そう笑う人の 手には古い傷
教えるなんて 顔もしないで
大事なことだけ 置いていく
上手いとか
速いとかじゃない
長く走ってきた人の言葉は
あとになって 効いてくる
今日のミーティングで またひとつ
帰る頃には 名前で呼んでいる
排気量だって 走り方だって
違うくらいが ちょうどいい
缶コーヒーが ぬるくなるまで
立ったままずっと 話してる
次に会う日を 決めてもいないのに
また会う気がして 手を振った
誰と走るかも
どこへ行くかも
長く乗ってりゃ
少しずつ変わる
それでもこうして
知らない誰かと
同じ一台を見て
笑える日は悪くない
今日のミーティングが 終わっていく
一台 また一台 道へ消える
今日まで知らない人だったのに
バックミラー越し 手を上げてる
またどこかの道で
会えたらいい
好きなものから 始まっただけ

Time to flow the highway dyed in the sunset at your own rhythm.
The night where only the heartbeat and the engine beat remain.
A meeting to exchange words with someone you meet for the first time around your beloved car.
A familiar place that comes back naturally on weekends.
And an unforgettable memory of starting to run after the back of the person I once admired.
What is there is not a story that competes with youth and speed.
I'm not as reckless as I used to be.
There are more things to protect.
I also knew the parting.
Even so, if you start the engine, there is still the same high sound in the back of my chest.
"You don't have to match someone's speed. I just have to go my own way.
The path that started with longing will become your own life at some point.
