To Be Born as Me (English Ver.)

RIONTE

Somewhere along the way my heartbeat settles down

And I can finally open up to you, here and now

I’m talking about me — no more running away

They call it “just a phase,” a momentary doubt

“Wake up — be normal,” they say it out loud

“And if you don’t fit in, don’t call it happiness”

Still I believe — yes, I believe

I believe in this moment, right in front of me

Let this feeling reach you — see me, somehow

With sweaty hands I hold on tight, then let go

I tell you where I’ve been — everything I know

The me I was born as, the me I won’t let go

As years go by, they speak like they’re so sure

“This isn’t the real you,” with that look that turns me cold

It’s not who I could be — it’s who they can’t accept

Deep down I know, in this one life we get

We die and start again, again and again

Happiness is never waiting in the future

It’s only here — right now

So I believe — yes, I believe

I believe in this moment right in front of me

I’m not a “someday” version of myself

I’m only here — right now

In a world that twists and sways

My heart comes back again, again and again

Even if the tide pulls me under — still

I get back up — again and again

In this fragile, endless time

I believe this “now” is real, I know it’s mine

If I’m gonna say it out loud, it has to be “now”

Let this feeling reach you — see me, somehow

To Be Born as Me (English Ver.)

    RIONTE

This is a re-release of a track that depicts the process of weaving words through self-affirmation in the present moment, while remaining under the pressure of the word "normal."

This song is a "nameless story" born from confronting the inner conflicts of a certain protagonist, tracing the very silhouette of her heart.
In the original story, she makes a tragic choice. However, through this song, I wanted to ignite a glimmer of hope within her fate. To shed new light on a soul that remained unsaved-this piece was born from such an analysis, one that is akin to a prayer.
I hope that her questions about "existing as oneself" will find a new form and resonate within the hearts of those living in the world today.
Through the innocent voice of AI. A story of someone, somewhere-yet perhaps, a story of you.
