I first heard this song when I was having a drink and jamming with "Saito-kun (Piro)" from the band Saito Neon Sign. I love songs about drinking and I often write them myself but I had never encountered one that felt this fresh and spirited. I asked him right then and there if I could sing it, and it has since become a song that I cherish and continue to perform, both as a solo artist and with my band!
