Born in 2020 during a time of global challenge, this miracle remote collaboration is now ready for the world.

"Aozora Koite / Longing for the Blue Sky" is a beautiful song born from a heartfelt connection. It began with a poem written by "Yukika," who contributed to Sachiyo Nakatani's medical worker tribute movie, and a reply poem by "Konpeki." Inspired by their moving words, pianist and composer Sachiyo Nakatani beautifully set them to melody.

The song features the stunning vocals of Yuzu, an award-winning singer and active real-life nurse. Even while facing the frontlines of healthcare, she recorded her powerful and comforting vocals entirely via remote session.

Just like hydrangeas longing for the blue sky amidst the rainy season, this song delivers healing, hope, and love to everyone moving forward through difficult times. Please receive the beautiful Japanese language along with the deeply touching vocals.

[Artist Profile]
Sachiyo Nakatani (Improvisational Composer / Pianist)
An improvisational composer who does not use sheet music. Based on her personal experience of losing her piano and beloved friends in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, she dedicates her life to lighting up hearts through music. Her award-winning earthquake recovery song and her emotional memorial concert on a 140-year-old Steinway have been widely featured on NHK National News and various media. Currently, she travels around the country holding "Inochi wo Tsunagu Concerts (Concerts for Connecting Lives)" to stay close to people's hearts.

Deeply moved by the regret of not being able to save her own piano during the earthquake, she created her own unique "Improvisational Duet" out of a strong desire to save abandoned, unspoken pianos everywhere, and to share the beautiful world of free music that does not require sheet music. This experience transforms anyone, from babies to seniors, into an improvisational pianist on the spot with absolutely no prior rehearsal, delivering a one-of-a-kind, deeply moving experience.
