Haruna Koike is a Kyoto-based singer-songwriter.
Centered around her unadorned vocals and guitar, she turns the small, everyday moments and inexpressible emotions of life into songs. While her music carries the intimacy of folk, her melodies seem to float somewhere outside of reality, accompanied by a distinctive choice of words that leaves a lasting impression.

With a strange, dreamlike atmosphere reminiscent of acid folk, her music quietly draws listeners into her own musical world.

In 2026, she released her first digital single.

------------------------------------------------------
At the beginning of this year, a New Year's card arrived in my mailbox.
Written on it in blue ballpoint pen, in a far-from-careful handwriting, were the words: "Love Forever"
For some reason, seeing those words made me laugh, and I found myself thinking, "Maybe I should make a song."
The lyrics and melody came to me right away. Finding the chords was a little difficult, but I felt like if I stopped there, I'd never finish the song, so I stuck with it.
On January 11, I had a show at poyarn in Himeji, and I sang this song for the first time there. It slipped out so naturally, and somehow it immediately felt like my own song. I thought, "I want to record it while I'm still in this flow."
I decided to record it myself at Madoma Museum. I wanted to be relaxed while recording, so I went for walks, ate snacks, took naps... I spent so much time not recording that it ended up taking about three days.
I asked Sakushima, the owner of Madoma Museum, to choose which takes to use.
I also tried adding other instruments with programmed sounds, but somehow none of it felt quite right. In the end, it became something simple: just vocals and guitar.
This single came together with the help of many different people.
I hope you'll give it a listen.
