本楽曲は、車デザイナーとしての感性とサイバーパンクの精神を融合させたプロジェクト「UNTITLED」のために書き下ろされた作品である。

ボーカルには、シンガーの Yasue Niwayama を迎え、その表現力豊かな歌声が楽曲に奥行きと繊細さを与えている。

SHADOWは、「二つの存在のあいだに生まれる感情」を想像することから制作された楽曲である。
歌詞には、特定の誰かを思い続けるひとりの人物像が描かれているが、その対象はあえて明示していない。

ここで示される「誰か」とは、聴き手の想像に委ねられた存在であり、解釈の余地として意図的に残されたものである。
この「誰か」を、自己の内側に存在するもう一人の自分として捉え、その象徴を影（SHADOW）と名付けた。
