Mirai Kodai Orchestra's signature song "Forgotten Words" now has a new symphonic version. Its guest vocalist is Inui Toko, a NIJISANJI virtual liver. With over 100 million viral streams to its name, the song has been re-recorded here in a symphonic arrangement.

The premiere came on May 7, 2026, as the opening number of Zepp DiverCity's "Festival or Fragment 6: Oblivio of the Great God." Opening the festival with this new arrangement, it left a strong impact on the audience.

Miyako Matsuoka (Mirai Kodai Orchestra), the composer of the original, has woven "Forgotten Words" into a grand symphonic sound. Through rapidly shifting tempos and layer upon layer of sound, Inui Toko's warm and unwavering voice cuts straight through. It is the same song yet sounds like an entirely different one, and at the same time, the strength of its message remains unchanged.

Ten years ago, the lyric read: "becoming a melody of thousands, of millions, of billions." Just as it foretold, this song has been passed on through many forms. This symphonic version marks the opening of a new chapter.
