Seisho Reflection is a mid tempo city pop track that portrays the morning a woman quietly closes a summer-long relationship with her own hands, on a coastal road the day after a typhoon.
Early asphalt still wet and catching light, salt dried white at the edge of the window, the calm breathing of someone asleep in the passenger seat, and breaking waves falling away behind create a brilliant and unforgiving morning where nothing ambiguous can survive.
Performed by the fictional AI singer Akemi, the song captures the emotions of adulthood that knows a conversation would only cloud a clean memory with excuses and reasons to stay, and so chooses the lane without waking him.
Inspired by the late 1970s to early 1980s Japanese new music and city pop, the track reimagines that era urban lyricism through images of coastal highways, the end of summer, and the air inside a moving car.
She leaves the salt where it is and sets the summer down, pressing the pedal without hesitating.
Past the toll gate and into the noise of the city, she lets the cold buckle click once under her finger and turns the wheel back toward her ordinary days.

A music project that reimagines the melancholic mood and nighttime glow of late 1970s to early 1980s Japanese City Pop and New Music through AI-assisted production and human direction. Akemi is a fictional singer with a backstory of being from Yamato City, Kanagawa, Japan. She sings of urban solitude, grown-up love, and bittersweet afterglow in a noir-tinged city pop sound. Lyrics, composition, vocals, and visuals are created using generative tools and curated through editing. This is an experimental project exploring the human warmth and nostalgia that can emerge from AI.
