MOMENT

This is the 2nd EP from KANU, a rapper based in Ofuna, Kamakura.

The project features production by fellow Kayac colleague and artist okkaaa, with the entire EP composed and recorded within the company's meeting rooms.

The EP consists of three tracks, each themed around different "moments":

"KANU the Rapper" : KANU recounts the past that inspired his stage name.

"Dive": He likens his sudden life transformation - which began with his foray into rapping - to skydiving.

"Cheap Casio": He reflects on his aspirations as a rapper by drawing parallels to a wristwatch, which silently and steadily marks the passage of time.

The artwork was created by colleague Yohei Okada. It is based on a scene captured during an after-party for a solo live show hosted by KANU at the Kayac office.
