「モノクロ少女」は主人公の少女が子を孕むことと作者自身が作曲を行う心情を重ねた曲。曲を作る度に自分の色を失って行くような感覚を覚え、それでも曲を作らなければならないという使命感にも似た感情を汚れた性欲の結末に準えた。オルタナティブロックをルーツとした目まぐるしい速さのドラムと変拍子のなかで優しくも無感情なボーカルメロディが内に秘める暗い心情を表している。
