Okinawa-born singer keigo releases his 2nd EP "Creation"! Featuring guest appearances by MUD, with production from theeluu, CHOUJI, and NARISK.
Since starting his career in 2020, keigo has showcased his versatility across a wide range of styles - from groovy R&B to upbeat Afro beats, Reggae, and Hip Hop. He has collaborated with numerous artists including RITTO, CHOUJI, CHICO CARLITO, Yo-Sea, NGONG, Shuuto, GOTTZ, Neetz, TOMi, Oichi, and KK. Following last month's release of his EP "Imagination," keigo is now back with his second EP, "Creation."
This latest release features five tracks that highlight keigo's dynamic sound. In addition to the lead single "Endless Weekend," the EP includes "Real Ones," a Hip Hop track featuring KANDYTOWN's MUD, "Cycle," produced by CHOUJI, and "Toki wo Koeteku," a roots reggae track produced by long-time collaborator theeluu. Also featured is "Break Free," produced by Fukuoka-based beatmaker NARISK. The EP blends Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall, and Roots Reggae, reflecting the full range of keigo's musical expression.
Based in Okinawa and deeply inspired by Hip-Hop and R&B, keigo launched his music career in 2020. Demonstrating versatile talent since his early days, he has been pursuing a unique style, grounded in groovy R&B while seamlessly incorporating a wide range of genres, including Soul, Afrobeats, Reggae, and Hip-Hop. Following a standout streak of consecutive monthly single releases from November 2024 to February 2025, keigo dropped his first R&B-focused EP, Imagination, on March 26, 2025. Shortly after, on April 30, 2025, he released his second EP, Creation, showcasing a multi-genre mix of Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, and Afrobeats. Later that year, on October 23, 2025, he successfully wrapped up his first-ever headline live show with a full band set. On May 9, 2026, he released his highly anticipated third EP, Rich Heart. In addition to consistently putting out his own music, he frequently features on other artists' tracks, participates in various creative projects, and maintains an energetic presence performing at major festivals and live events.
