The lyrics of this song "SHIBUYA" express the feelings I had when people are standing at the scramble crossing at Shibuya Station.
I was inspired to write the lyrics after seeing many people from overseas having fun taking photos at the scramble crossing and with Hachiko. So I created a taste of the divine music of traditional Japanese culture with English lyrics for an overseas audience. I expressed the beauty with drums and koto so that you can easily use your happy memories in your Instagram reel videos. Share your memories with "SHIBUYA".
Hachiko (HATIKOU) is a lyricist and music creator. He uses the name "Hachiko" in Japan and "HATIKOU" for overseas music distribution and international media, creating and distributing music, videos, and digital content. He was responsible for the planning and lyrics of "HACHIKO 100th ANNIVERSARY," a song commemorating the 100th anniversary of Hachiko's birth, an official project of Shibuya Ward. His brother, Solty Kay, composed the music, and the Hatsune Miku version reached number 2 on the Belgian charts. He also continues to express social themes such as Japanese culture, tourism, disaster prevention, and accessibility through music and video. For the video work "Shibuya Disaster Prevention and Urban Development," which utilizes his original music, he served as director, screenwriter, original story creator, planner, and acting coach, winning nine awards at the "Tokyo AI Disaster Prevention Film Festival." On his YouTube channel "HATIKOU," as a member of the Shibuya Ward Tourism Association, he disseminates works and information related to music, video, regional development, and inbound tourism promotion. "Hachiko" and "HATIKOU" are the same brand name used continuously both domestically and internationally. We are engaged in activities that connect people, communities, culture, and disaster prevention through music.
