Don't Fade Away は、EDM POPシリーズ第5作です。今回はDeep Houseの空気感を取り入れ、これまでよりも深く、重く、低音を軸にした作品になりました。太いベース、じわじわと進むグルーヴ、深夜の空気を思わせる質感が全体を包んでいます。ただし、テーマそのものは“重さ”ではありません。
この10曲は、ダンスフロアと心の内側を行き来します。すぐに身体を動かしたくなる曲もあれば、記憶や距離感、切なさ、静かな感情に寄り添う曲もあります。言葉にならないものをリズムで伝え、感情を音の中で揺らしていくようなアルバムです。
タイトルの Don't Fade Away には、「消えていくな」「自分の光を失うな」「大切なものを薄れさせるな」という意味を込めました。音は深く沈んでも、心まで沈ませない。その小さな光を守るための一枚です。
