Desire for marriage Return

Jet-ki Kenzo Kikaku

Fortune-telling

Tanavier Ackington Jr. and Yonju-Ichiro formed the experimental music unit "Jet Aircraft Construction Project" during their art school days. Active from 2000 to 2010. In an era before social media or streaming, they caused a buzz on blogs and My Sound - or so it would be generous to say; in reality, the music landed with a handful of people.
This album is an anthology drawn from their self-proclaimed "golden era" of the mid-2000s. The overt irony and antithesis of their early work has been reined in, and the surface presents itself as something almost refined - but listen closely and a distinctly Heisei-era message emerges, one that pushes the limits of what Reiwa can handle. Probably.
Like a secret hideout built by a couple of kids - reckless, romantic, and slightly dangerous. Twenty years on, this collection finally reaches the world. It seems the times have caught up at last.

Artist Profile

  • Jet-ki Kenzo Kikaku

Jet Aircraft Construction Project is a research and development initiative with the sincere goal of building a fully domestically-produced Japanese jet plane. The two members are art school graduates. Music production serves as a means of raising development funds - however, a music style that consistently leaves listeners behind has proven to be an obstacle, and the path to the jet plane remains bleak. Active primarily in the 2000s, their work was discovered by a small number of listeners in the corners of the early internet. The world has yet to catch up.
