The Distance Between Us and Everything

This album is a celebration of movement - the belief that the farther you go, the deeper your life becomes. Across fifteen original bossa nova tracks, we follow the journey of someone who chooses to leave, to run, to cycle, to board a train, to take flight, and even to drift through the sky in an airship. Each song captures a different mode of travel and a different emotional landscape, from quiet morning footsteps to the vast open sky at night. The music is warm, forward-looking, and full of the particular joy that only comes from going somewhere new. Produced under the artist name asafuwari, this record is an invitation - to step outside, to move, and to discover the version of yourself that only distance can reveal.
