Announcing the highly anticipated 1st album release of Junya Okubo's solo project, OLD Jr. Junya Okubo, known for contributing songs to Anna and lyrical school, collaborates on his solo project with a wide variety of artists such as TSUTCHIE, Small Circle of Friends, Megumi Maki (Hicksville), PANORAMA FAMILY, and many others.
The beautiful Japanese lyrics and melody familiar to us are more polished than ever before. Junya Okubo's album, "Happy Sad", is a philosophical expression of sentimentalism at its most sentimental ever, continuing the theme he has focused on throughout his career.
This album features TSUTCHIE, Small Circle of Friends, PANORAMA FAMILY, Masacherry Izumi, Shuhei Ueda, Takashi Ogawa (Canvas), and other close friends who helped with producing and arranging the music. In addition, artists like Megumi Maki, Adachi Reisaburo, Yo Miyao, Yudai Furukawa (ex.Special Favorite Music), and Haruhiko Ueki (ex.Special Favorite Music), help to bring out the charm of Junya Okubo in a way that has never been seen before.

Junya Okubo, vocalist, copywriter and lyricist for Anna, has a new solo project. As Anna, he has previously released six albums. More recently, he has been heavily involved in writing lyrics and producing sounds for the idol group lyrical school. As a solo artist Junya Okubo has worked with PANORAMA FAMILY and TSUTCHIE (SHAKKAZOMBIE) as a featured artist on their works. In 2020, he will release his first solo project, collaborating with a diverse selection of artists, on TSUTCHIE's SYNC TWICE label.
