• Sotaro Hasuike

  Sotaro Hasuike is a pianist, born 1998 in Amakusa, Kumamoto, Japan. He started playing the piano at the age of four. Graduated from the University of Tokyo. Winnner of Bronze prize at the 21st Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia, second prize at the 22nd Japan Classical Music Competition. Grand Prize and Kumamoto Governor's Prize at the 43rd Kumanichi Student Music Competition. Gold Prize and Grand Prize at the 10th, 12th and 17th Kyushu Music Competitions. Has won many other prizes. While classical music is his backbone, in recent years he has become more inclined towards jazz. he performs mainly in Tokyo.
