Kayoko Maie graduated from Musashino College of Music in 1999. Studied piano with Kyoko Suzuki and Kyoko Ito. After graduating from university, she learned about the profession of a ballet pianist and was captivated at first sight and aspired. She has worked as a pianist at Aoyama Dancing Square, Inoue Ballet, Shiki Theater Company, Studio Architanz, Tani Momoko Ballet Institute, and other private ballet schools and studios. In 2015, she auditioned for the Princess Grace Academy of Monaco and became a resident pianist. In addition to her class lessons at the Academy, she also plays the piano in performances and gala performances. She returned to Japan in 2023 and is currently a company pianist at Tani Momoko Ballet Company. Piano accompaniment in ballet lesson video, Naoko Takabe's For Your Dance -Fun Ballet-. She has participated as a pianist in performances by overseas dancers at the World Ballet Festival, Etoile Gala, and Bubenicek Gala, as well as at the Bournonville Seminar in Tokyo in 2010~2015 and 2019, and the 4th Beijing International Ballet Competition.
