The first solo album by Hirakh, a rapper from Million Boys.

Demos played in a car on winter streets.
The air of his hometown.

moving from city to city,
doubt, pressure, and the drive to keep going.
Every part of it was a checkpoint
in figuring out who he really is.

without losing sight of where home is.

it leaves you with a quiet release,
like some of the weight you've been carrying
finally easing off your shoulders.

Toward the end of the album, .IX,
a fellow member of Million Boys
and the crew's DJ and beatmaker, joins in.
Their shared time and experience come together naturally,
adding another layer to the record.

Leaving to grow stronger,
then coming back to make that place better than before.
Hiraeth is an album meant to play
somewhere along that road.
