I've loved sitting at the piano and playing endlessly-
well, not quite improvisation, maybe more like just letting my hands wander.
Since I was a kid, I've always enjoyed playing for hours, simply following where my feelings take me.
I can't really read sheet music, and my fingers aren't particularly fast.
But the piano is a beautiful instrument-one that lets me express exactly how I feel, instantly and directly.

On nights after seeing something beautiful-like a vivid landscape-I sit at the piano and replay the memory through sound.
That simple act of translating feelings into music is something I deeply love.

This album is a collection of those kinds of pieces-improvised piano tracks shaped by memories of beautiful moments from my hometown of Kanazawa,
alongside a few tracks built with the help of a sequencer, and some piano music I composed for work.
Out of all of them, I selected the pieces that feel the most "me."

Also included are two tracks originally created for the Sony PlayStation game MOON:
"heads in the clouds" and "glossypebbles."
