R&B keeps reinventing itself worldwide, and while Japan's J-R&B scene once faded into the background, its very niche status is now fueling a quiet yet unmistakable revival of truly contemporary soul music.

It was at one of the rare, purist-leaning showcases-"R&B after dark"-that JASMINE felt the spark. Late in the night an Afrobeat groove drifted through the speakers, and the chemistry between R&B's velvet textures and Afrobeat's lilting pulse stunned her. Already a long-time admirer of the style, she left the club determined to weave Afrobeat into her own work.

To bring the idea to life she tapped producer T.O.M, the creative force who also shaped her single "Fallin'." Together they crafted a dance track that feels weightless yet tinged with bittersweet longing-an unexpectedly slow-tempo number that invites both movement and reflection.
