"OPEN CALL" is a song created around the themes of " encounters" and "connections." While envisioning the chance to meet someone new and the possibilities that arise from that, we focused on creating an atmosphere that is both emotional and uplifting.


Throughout the song, we were careful not to lean too heavily on melancholy; instead, we aimed for a warmth that conveys the "hope for the future" and the "power to gently encourage someone" that lies beyond it. We carefully balanced the melody and arrangement so that listeners are left with a positive feeling after the song ends.

In terms of sound, we avoided adding more parts than necessary, aiming for a simple yet refined atmosphere. We crafted an arrangement that makes use of negative space so that the song's inherent charm and the message of the lyrics come across naturally.

Sao handled the vocals, singing with a gentle, comforting expression in the first half and an emotional delivery that unleashes her feelings in the second half. The way the emotions gradually build alongside the song's story is one of the highlights of this track.

NAGATA handled the guitar and bass. While prioritizing support for the song as a whole, we sprinkled technical touches throughout the details, aiming for a performance that maintains a solid presence without being overly assertive.
