TEREBI MINAKYA!?

Since the release of the lo-fi pop EP "My Life" in February, emerging singer-songwriter "OWC"based in Kagoshima, has been gaining attention among music enthusiasts, with unique descriptions like "introverted city pop" and "slightly empty, boredom pop." Now, OWC is releasing a new track titled TEREBI MNAKYA!? a catchy 80s-inspired song.

In today's world, where many young people no longer watch TV, the stories flowing from that square window are always fictional, as they have been in the past. But the reality is that, despite being fully aware of the lies and theatrics on TV, many people still find it a "refreshing tonic" in their daily lives. OWC is one such person who enjoys TV, and this new release marks a fresh display of OWC's talent following the exceptional Japanese pop-influenced single "I Only Know One Side," released on September 4th.
"TEREBI MNAKYA!?" is a second single that showcases OWC's growing abilities. It can be described as a theme song for everyday life, using TV as its subject. From the catchy intro to the vibrant electro-pop sound reminiscent of TV shows and commercials from the 80s, the song lightly sings about TV and daily life.

OWC's new song "TEREBI MNAKYA!?" will be digitally released on October 2, 2024, under the label Situation.Kagoshima/NF Recordings, part of Natural Foundation.
