my second single, ''Hot Chocolate''. is reeased.
The song began with a simple question:
What is the difference between cocoa and hot chocolate?
Both are warm drinks made with milk, chocolate or cocoa powder, and sugar.
Yet somehow, ''hot chocolate'' carries a slightly more special feeling
Recently, with an improved recording environment, We have been able to explore a wider range of musical expression. Gratefully, our days have become increasingly busy and creatively fulfilling.
Amid such hectic moments, I found myself thinking about the quiet act of placing marshmallows into a cup and simply watching them melt
a so-called ''wasted'' moment.
And yet, perhaps it is within those wasted moments that tenderness truly exists.
There is a saying that ''90% of the time spent with a lover is wasted.''
This song focuses on the quiet beauty of those seemingly unnecessary moments.
In the beginning of love, every second feels precious. Simply sharing the same view is enough to feel fulfilled. But as time passes, we sometimes lose the ability to cherish those ordinary, uneventful hours together.
What if we had truly valued that time?
''Hot Chocolate'' gently portrays that sense of regret and lingering warmth,a song that is slightly bitter, yet sweet.
Following her first single ''Amatsubu'', this release marks another step forward for Yuki Yoshikawa as a songwriter and artist.

July 15 2025 A special day for me. This song was created with the theme of *wanting to enjoy even a gloomy day and *having someone special who stays with you on days like that. On rainy days when I couldn't go out, my mother would always take me to a stylish cafe. I wove those memories into the lyrics. This is also the first song where we arranged all the instruments ourselves and handled everything - from performance to recording and mixing. We had no idea what we were doing at first -re-recorded many times -lost data along the way - and learned through trial and error. It's a song we poured our hearts into and one we've become very attached to. If this song can add a little color to someone's day, nothing would make me happier.
