Yasuhiro Soda is a musician who explores new possibilities in ambient music with just a guitar and a large number of effects pedals.

He doesn't use generation AI or synthesizers, and all his tracks are recorded in one track, one take, one take, and without editing. Instead of correcting the accidental occurrences and fluctuations that happen during performance, he preserves the sounds created in that moment as they are.

Like a single-stroke calligraphy, once a sound is released, there is no going back. This irreversibility is what gives Yasuhiro Soda's work a unique tension and delicate expression.

With a background in Japanese aesthetics and Eastern philosophy, he focuses not on the scarcity of sound, but on listening to the time it takes for the sound to fade away. Currently, he continues this production method as a continuous practice, releasing new works every day.
