I combined Japanese-inspired melodies and rhythms in the style of 1970s American television and film theme music.
I chose the title "Chanbara" to evoke the image of children imitating the movements of heroic swordsmen in period dramas.
This is a gentle piece composed as an adagio within a heroic suite.
