MUJINA MUJINA is a Japanese seven-piece swing rock band formed in 2023 by members with very different roots in metal, punk, jazz, and big band music. MUJINA's most distinctive feature is its unique musicality, which incorporates elements of swing jazz and big band sounds while sublimating them into loud, modern rock. Wood bass slaps and walking bass over heavy and delicate swing beat drums. The guitar plays a high gain and loud sound from the clean parts reminiscent of good old jazz. The gorgeous trumpets, saxophones, and trombones that add a splash of color to the music. And the vocals that sing with a variety of approaches and overwhelming vocal power. This sophisticated and completely new musicality is a sound that could only be created by these seven musicians, all of whom have different roots.
