• ketchup mania

  In December 1999, "Ketchup mania" was formed in Nagoya. Armed with sounds influenced by overseas pop-punk / emo and cute vocals by HIRO, one of the red ones. Energetic live activities centered around his hometown of Nagoya. Released the first nationwide distribution debut mini album "EVERYTIME MUSIC FREAK" in July 2003. In June 2004, the 2nd mini album "... JUST IN LUST" was released. 2004 Participated in popular omnibus such as "V.A./Donna Don 2" (DONA DONA RECS), "V.A./Hyakka Ryouran VOL.2" (EGO MUSIC), "V.A./GAL Edition Graduation Edition" (TOSHIBA EMI). Meanwhile, YOSEI joined as a bassist. In July 2005, released the 3rd mini album "Love Me Til U Don't". With this release, the base of activities was moved from Nagoya to Tokyo, and in December 2005, he made his major debut with the single "Jingleberry". January 2006 2nd single "Namida Vacuum Sound", February album "Greetings From Tokyo", May 3rd single "Your World" released in quick succession. In 2007, the band notation was changed to "ketchup mania" and the first label transfer album "URGE" was released. In June, he performed his first overseas live performance (USA), and released the album "LOVE" in August. Released singles, "BAD! BAD! BAD!" In February 2008 and "PLEASE! MARRY ME !!" in May. Released the album "FLAG" in June. In March of the same year, he performed at SXSW (South by Southwest), the largest music trade fair in the United States, and toured the United States. In August, he will also appear in SUMMER SONIC 08. Announced the dissolution in January 2009, and in April with the best album of the indie era "THE BEST OF Ketchup mania" Released two major albums "THE BEST OF ketchup mania" at the same time. Disbanded with a live performance at the Nagoya Apollo Theater in May.
