Don't Create Me (Part.1)

Luan, formerly of "Den-ei to Shonen CQ," makes her re-debut produced by Naruyoshi Kikuchi / Shin-Ongaku Seizaku Kobo. The long-awaited collaboration has finally yielded a 1st album of staggering quality!

"Den-ei to Shonen CQ"-the legendary unit that blended cinema-themed concepts with theater, tableaux vivants, dollism, and Shibuya-kei music-disbanded in late 2025 under the banner of a "Happy End."

Luan, the unit's vocalist, commissioned Naruyoshi Kikuchi (who had contributed to three tracks as a songwriter on their final album, "HAPPY END") to produce her next move. This led to the launch of the "Luan Reboot Project," produced by "Naruyoshi Kikuchi / Shin-Ongaku Seizaku Kobo." This release marks its 1st mini-album.

Luan, who was originally a fan of "The Second Period Spank Happy" (active from 2001 to 2004), entrusted Kikuchi with the total production, spanning from songwriting to visuals. It was decided that she would first release two 6-track mini-albums, of which this work is the first.

The album features a diverse range of high-quality tracks, including US overground-style dance tunes, hard-edged anime-inspired songs, vocaloid-esque galactic EDM, lyrical Nordic-style folky tracks, contemporary MPB (Brazilian pop), and a cover from Yuri Ichii's legendary 1996 album "JOYHOLIC." Beyond the sheer caliber of the music, the album is unified by the sheer strength of Luan's vocals. Moving away from her previously emotionless, doll-like singing style, her voice here is vibrant-as if newly liberated-and at times even strikingly sexy.
