Artist Profile

• Supa Jap

Supa Jap is a rapper and producer from Arakawa, Tokyo, Japan. Influenced by 2000s Southern Hip-Hop, Crunk, Snap, and early Trap, he brings the sound and culture of the Dirty South to Japan through his own style. Blending Japanese and English with a sound rooted in street, fashion, and club culture, Supa Jap creates music that moves freely between both languages and cultures. He is also the founder of Big Jap Bizness Records, representing his own interpretation of Southern Hip-Hop from Tokyo. I dont just recreate the sound of the past. I reinterpret and rebuild it through who we are today. Thats the Supa Jap style.
