Hamada Mariko's first live album in five years, Vol. 1 Solo Edition. live mix and produced by Makoto Kubota. This is the first volume from Camellia Records, a new label launched this fall by Mariko Hamada herself.
This is a compilation of recordings made at halls and live houses from Billboard Live Tokyo to Shimane Prefectural Hall in her hometown of Matsue, Japan. It includes popular original songs from the live performances, as well as covers of Michiro Endo's "Kanon", Rika's "Shooting Star", and the Blue Moon Quartet's "All You Can Lose". It also includes a duet with live guest Morio Agata, "Haruno Arashino Yoruno Tejinashi". Released from Camellia Records, a label launched by Hamada this fall. Camellia" is a flower of Matsue. The obi comments are by the legendary singer-songwriter Sachiko Kanenobu, who lives in the US.
