soulbreathe is a joint EP by Hiroshima-based rapper Guren and beatmaker Deepfloat, built on soulful, sample-driven boom bap.
Each of the six tracks captures raw, unfiltered moments from everyday life-encounters with kindness, the weight of loss, the quiet strength of trust, and the energy that flows through simply staying alive.
The title reflects the belief that the soul breathes and grows as we move through life.

From realizing you're not special and learning to accept it (same old), to scars that remain even after memories fade (keep it real), to unspoken trust between close friends (silent action)-this is a record grounded in real experience.

FREE as a bird embraces the freedom found in being true to yourself, You Know My Steez reflects on lessons learned in the local club scene, and life is one time-written for two friends lost in a traffic accident-is where this entire project began.
